| Approved ICF Companies
Parex conducted a series of tests to list ICF suppliers on the following list. The only
approved Parex system for ICF is Parex IMPACT SYSTEM. Use
of any other coating system must be approved by Parex prior to the job, on a case by
case basis.
Parex IMPACT SYSTEM can be applied over the following ICF systems:
- American Polysteel Forms, Albuquerque, NM (1-800-977-3676)
- Fold Form, Sioux City, IA (1-800-551-3313)
- FORMTECH International, Markham, Ontario (1-877-848-6155)
- Green Block, Woodland Park, CO (1-719-687-0645)
- Reward, Omaha, NE (1-800-468-6344)
- ICE Block, New Carlisle, OH (1-800-423-2557)
- Reddi-Form (1-800-334-4303)
- Quad Lock Building System, Surry, BC (1-888-711-5625)
- Eco-Block, Ft. Lauderdale, FL (1-954-766-2900)
The following companies are also aproved but with specific application precautions due to their system configuration:
Note:
- Parex is not responsible for the design or installation of the ICF wall. Applied to properly prepared vertical surfaces, Parex coatings resist
weather and water intrusion, but do not compensate for lack of flashing, sealant or other critical construction components required to prevent
water intrusion. Please refer to the building designer, the ICF supplier and installer for proper wall design.
- One should strictly follow Parex specification and Parex instructions for IMPACT SYSTEM.
- Parex IMPACT SYSTEM is designed to be applied on flat uniform walls, and will
not compensate for wall imperfections. Always pay attention to the condition of the poured ICF wall. Serious
repairs and rasping may have to be done before the coatings can be installed. Extreme cases may require adding a
layer of EPS over the wall to correct it. Attachment of the foam will vary according to the ICF system. Check with
Parex for recommendations.
